Sony Bravia KDL40EX503U 40-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD TV, 100Hz with Freeview HD

Sony Bravia KDL40EX503U 40-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD TV, 100Hz with Freeview HD Review

I bought this TV a few days ago and so far very happy with him. The stand was easy to install and the same TV is very easy to install - just follow the prompts on the screen, and is done in five minutes or so. The DVB-T HD signal, which is available in my area, perfect - and the image is matched significantly better than DVB-T signal. Shame there are a couple of Freeview HD channels yet, but obviously that's not Sony's problem.

Overall, the pictureThe quality is excellent, with bright colors (a bit 'too much with the default settings?), Good contrast and blacks, and the sound very clearly built for the speaker. Controls and menus are all intuitive enough - so no need to consult the manual (which is embedded in the set and access the menus).

Connectivity is good, including 4 x HDMI connections, 2 Scart and 1 Ethernet + USB. The only Niggle is the lack of content including a wireless Internet-access. This requires the purchase of aSony Wi-Fi dongle apart (which I did not finish), unless you want to run an Ethernet cable from the router. This type of circumcision irritates me - if Sony can, for example, full access Wi-Fi are in a PSP, because they are optional on these costs in a television interview can do much more?
